Jodie Foster rekomenderade Kristen   bild från panic room.

PopEaterhar en artikel om hur Jodie Foster fick regissören till The Yellow Handkerchief att välja Kristen till rollen som Martine.

"Nobody wanted me to take (Stewart) in the part of Martine, she was practically an unknown," Cohn told the press at "The Yellow Handkerchief's" press day. "But Jodie Foster, a close friend, urged me to take her."

"So I took her."

He repeated the same thoughts in the film's official press notes which state that Foster "recommended" Stewart for the part. "I followed Jodie's advice because she's a great actress and director," Cohn is quoted as saying in the notes.

Some of my favorite memories from filming BD 1&2, in random order:

-”Watching the creation of a three-story wedding cake composed of dead bodies. I may or may not have climbed to the top to get a picture”.

-”Playing Farkle (wikipedia.org/wiki/Farkle) with Taylor and company. Yes, it is a real game, and just because I won doesn’t mean I was cheating”.

-”Watching Noel and Guri sing classic Madonna in Romanian accents and full costume.”

-”The cottage! The nursery! It was a joke on set that any woman who walked into that nursery would spontaneously conceive. Too beautiful”.

”I look forward to seeing some of you in the upcoming months as publicity for Breaking Dawn 2 starts up. It feels so weird to think it’s all coming to an end! Happy in some ways, depressing in others. The saddest part for me is that the next premiere is the last time I’ll get to see you guys all together. It’s something I always look forward to, even though it’s frenzied and I don’t really get a chance to talk to anybody. I’ll just tell myself that a couple of you will show up for The Host premiere so that I don’t get too depressed about finality and goodbyes.

It’s been quite a ride, hasn’t it? Thanks for being there with me through all of this. It wouldn’t have been any fun without you. See, now I’m getting maudlin. Better call it quits before I start crying”.

A natural musician - he starred in the Beatles-based "Across the Universe" - Anderson worked on three projects in one year - "The River", "The Grey" and "Breaking Dawn".

In less than a week, he went from minus 40 temperatures in Canada to scorching heat in Puerto Rico.

The former was for "The Grey," a drama about a group of airplane crash survivors fighting off wolves. The latter, a role in "The River," a new ABC drama about a wildlife expert who goes missing.

"Throw in 'Twilight' and it was a pretty interesting year," Anderson says with a smile.

And then? Then there's "Breaking Dawn," the last two parts of the "Twilight" saga. In the vampire drama, Anderson plays Alistair, a particularly complex vampire who intercedes for the Cullens. The actor read the books, saw the early films and "tried to absorb as much as I could" but knew he'd never be as savvy about the character as some of the popular books' fans.

No sweat. "It's nice to play against the grain of the film," Anderson says. "He can do what he wants because he is who he is."

The 29-year-old British-born actor, however, didn't realize the devotion of "Twilight's" fan base.

"I hadn't even arrived at the motel and already there was fan mail. They figured out where I was going to be - and I didn't even know. But every one of those letters was so genuine and so sweet."

The creepy stuff? That was saved for other actors. "A woman was standing outside the Sutton Place in Vancouver with a pair of scissors. She had flown from England to cut some of Robert Pattinson's hair for a doll."

"Breaking Dawn - Part II" (slated for release in the fall) came with such high financial stakes "tension was ripe," Anderson says. "There's not a lot of rehearsal. So before a scene with Kristen (Stewart) I had to gun up the character from the trailer to the stage. It's the first time you see this guy come to life. But until you get the gear on, you're not quite sure what he's going to be."
